Leader Bank Pavilion Information

Leader Bank Pavilion

Summer outdoor concerts in the Boston Harbor area are synonymous with Leader Bank Pavilion. Its distinctive white canopy and curved frame make it instantly identifiable from out on the water at Boston Harbor.

To overcome cold weather, the open-air Leader Bank Pavilion amphitheater typically operates from May to October. It jams multiple events per week into its season, drawing several thousand people to the South Boston area throughout the week.

It hosts big names in music every summer with dozens of concerts. Fans can purchase season tickets or single-event tickets. A typical concert seats about 5,000 fans.

The facility includes a VIP Club, where concert attendees have access to a special gathering area with amenities. The VIP Tent can accommodate up to 400 guests.

Although the facility opened in 1994, it moved to its current location in 1999. In 2021, Leader Bank became the latest corporation to purchase naming rights to the amphitheater.

Live Nation, an entertainment company, bought the venue in 1999, giving the facility a steady stream of artists for music concerts. Over 3.5 million people have attended events at the outdoor amphitheater through its three decades in service.

The facility offers state-of-the-art lighting and audio technology, ensuring concertgoers enjoy a great show. The technology is available for private events, too, such as corporate meetings.

On nights when it isn’t hosting a concert, Leader Bank Pavilion is available for rent. Corporate events, weddings, private concerts, and other gatherings are possible at the amphitheater. The facility can provide custom menu options, craft beer and cocktails, and unique presentation options for those events.

Leader Bank Pavilion is a waterfront venue within walking distance of the Seaport District, providing access to restaurants and hotels. Although the pavilion has no designated parking area, it’s easily accessible through public transport stops.
